Pröwess to release debut EP ‘Headfirst’ on January 17, 2017
North Carolina, USA rockers Pröwess will be releasing their debut EP Headfirst on January 17, 2017.
Sleaze Roxx readers may know Pröwess from their previous incarnation as 21st Century Goliath whose debut album Radio Destroyer landed the #7 spot on Sleaze Roxx’s Top Ten Albums of 2012. 21st Century Goliath kept going until the group decided to abandon the name and start afresh as Pröwess after an initial acrimonious split with their long-time singer Tony Leone in November 2015. 21st Century Goliath and Leone apparently mended ill feelings when the latter rejoined his former bandmates onstage at a show on March 5, 2016.
The following message was posted on Pröwess‘ Facebook page earlier today:
“ANNOUNCEMENT: Pröwess will be releasing their debut EP, to be titled “Headfirst,” worldwide on Tuesday, January 17th! We will be hosting an EP Release Party at Amos’ Southend on Friday, January 13th with our friends Skulls & Whiskey and Audio Assault NC (as well as a very special guest TBA) and we will have advanced copies of the physical album available for purchase at the show.
We have been working on this album for six months and we’re very excited to share it with you all! Get a free digital download of the album one week in advance with purchase of a ticket to the show! Details below (as well as a teaser of the album artwork!) ;)”

Pröwess is a brand new rock and roll band from Charlotte, NC launched in 2016. This is the official video for their debut single “No Survivors” which was produced by Jamie King [Between the Buried & Me, He Is Legend]. Filmed and directed by Wheelhouse Media.
