Quiet Riot’s Rudy Sarzo And Twisted Sister’s AJ Pero Team Up In New Band

October 10, 2011

Bassist Rudy Sarzo (Dio, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Quiet Riot), drummer AJ Pero (Twisted Sister) and guitarist Mike orlando (Adrenaline Mob) have joined forces to form a new hard rock band.

Fifteen tracks are currently in pre-production and the band will announce the vocalist very shortly.

Says orlando, “AJ, Rudy and myself are real excited about launching this new line-up and it will definetely have tons of energy, great playing and some kick ass hard rock! It will be an honor to be part of this new band, as it is an honor to be part of Adrenaline Mob as well! It should be an exciting 2012.”

Rudy Sarzo is also currently a part of Animetal-USA along with singer Mike Vescera (Obsession, ex-Loudness), drummer Scott Travis (Judas Priest) and guitarist Chris Impellitteri (Impellitteri). The band are gearing up for the October 12th release of their debut album in Japan, featuring the band covering Japanese anime theme songs — a spin on the original Animetal band launched in Japan by Anthem vocalist Eizo Sakamoto. The album is produced by Greg Reely and all songs are arranged by Marty Friedman (ex-Megadeth) and Chris Impellitteri.
