R.I.P. Adrenaline Mob bassist David “Dave Z” Zablidowsky

Very sad news as Adrenaline Mob bassist David “Dave Z” Zablidowsky died today in a fatal bus crash when a tractor-trailer veered off Interstate 75 near Micanopy in Florida, USA and struck Adrenaline Mob‘s RV that had pulled off the highway with a flat tire.

Gainesville.com reports as follows:

“Marion County firefighters were dispatched at 12:24 p.m. The accident was on the southbound side near Micanopy.

At the scene, a sound man for the band, Adrenaline Mob, said the metal group was traveling in the RV and a van that was pulling a covered trailer.

A total of nine people were in the vehicles. One died, six were taken to area hospitals, and the other two declined medical treatment. Of the six injured, three were listed in critical condition and the other three in stable condition as of Friday evening.”

Wikipedia states the following about Dave Z‘s time in Adrenaline Mob: “On March 22, 2017, the band announced the release of a new album called We The People, with its title, album artwork and some songs inspired by the United States presidential election, 2016. They also announced a new bass player and drummer: David “Dave Z” Zablidowsky (who plays with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Jeff Scott Soto band) and Jordan Cannata, respectively.”

David Z‘s Facebook page reveals that he was from and lived in Brooklyn, New York, USA; he attended FDR High School in Brooklyn, NY; he studied music at Brooklyn College in New York City, NY; and, he was part of Rubix Kube, which describes itself as The Galaxy’s Most Original ’80s Tribute Band.
