Sleaze Roxx has some very sad news to report as Grim Reaper and Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper has passed away at the age of 62. Grimmett was born on August 19, 1959 and died on August 15, 2022. He is best known as the singer for the UK band Grim Reaper, which released three studio albums between 1983 and 1987. A fourth Grim Reaper record was being written following the third album Rock You To Hell but Grimmett advised in an interview with Vinyl Writer Music back in February 2022 that this fourth record would never get released while he was alive. Grimmett made headlines around the world when his right leg had to be amputated from below the knee in mid-January 2017 due to a very serious infection.
