Ratt bassist Juan Croucier getting ready to prepare for next solo album
Ratt bassist and Juan Croucier’s Ratt frontman Juan Croucier was recently interviewed by North Jersey.
Croucier noted that he is a writer and announced: “I am now getting ready to prepare what will be my next solo record.” In terms of the lyrical content, the bassist stated: “Making a statement that may change how you look at something.”

In terms of Ratt: “Our priority has been to maintain the quality of the band.”
With respect to the younger kids being in the audience these days: “We’re getting a lot of younger kids coming up and saying – my mom loves you guys!”
In regard to his musical influences: “I’m a kid from 60’s AM radio. For me the hit song was always king.”
As for current artists he enjoys: “You have such a variety of music out there. I look for quality work,” adding “I love hard rock and I also love pop music, my palette is pretty diverse.”
