Tomorrow will be the ten year mark since the release of Ratt‘s last studio album Infestation but the group’s frontman Stephen Pearcy continues to release solo albums on a semi-regular basis during the last few years.

After the release of Social Intercourse (2002), Fueler (2004), Under My Skin (2008), Smash (2017) and View To A Thrill (2018), Pearcy is planning on releasing his sixth studio album via his own record label Top Fuel Records in 2021.
The following message was posted on Pearcy‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“Stephen Pearcy “(title here)” #6 solo record to be released 2021 on Top Fuel Records/. Written by (Pearcy and Erik Ferentinos ) we’ve already started recording few months back. Probably release a work in motion song demo from Erik and myself just for fun. Tba.”
Pearcy released his fifth studio album View To A Thrill via Frontiers Music Srl back in November 2018. In an interview with Sleaze Roxx back in May 2019, Pearcy commented on the lack of push that View To A Thrill received while he was out of commission with a knee problem. He indicated: “Yeah, it had a lot more to do with the label [Frontiers Music Srl] seemingly drop the ball and I’m not one to sit around and wonder why, who, what, where. I’ll just get it back and re-release it. Maybe put out another solo record within a year. Right now, we are concentrating on a couple of new Ratt songs for next year and a video and some other things. So you know, we have a lot to accomplish here.”
