Red Ravyn featuring ex-Yngwie Malmsteen singer Mark Boals sign with Iron Gate Records

Red Ravyn consisting of lead vocalist Mark Boals (ex-Yngwie J. Malmsteen, ex-Dokken), lead guitarist Guilherme Costa, bassist Ed “Thunderfingers” Witzke and drummer Mirka Rantanen have signed with Iron Gate Records for presumably the release of their debut EP or album. Red Ravyn have also re-recorded their single “Rising Star” which can be heard via their website along with their cover of Steppnewolf’s classic track “Born To Be Wild.”

“We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve signed the hard rock sensation Red Ravyn to our roster at Iron Gate Records!

Led by former member of Yngwie Malmsteen and Ted Nugent, Mark Boals, this talented ensemble is taking hard rock to new heights with their melodic and 80s influenced sound. Alongside Boals, the band consists of lead guitarist Guilherme Costa, bass player Ed “Thunderfingers” Witzke, and drummer Mirka Rantanen, with Holly Roxx managing the magic behind the scenes.
