Reunited King Kobra Post New Original Song, A Tribute To Ronnie James DioThe recently reunited King Kobra have posted a brand new song entitled Monster’s And Hero’s, a tribute to the late Ronnie James Dio who lost his battle with cancer in May. The brand new track can be heard at www.facebook.com/pages/Official-King-Kobra/270854497159.

Carmine Appice, David Michael-Philips (Henzerling) (Big Cock), Mick Sweda (BulletBoys), Johnny Rod (W.A.S.P.) and singer Paul Shortino (replacing Mark Free from the original line-up) are working on a new album to be released by Frontiers Records in 2011.

Earlier this year King Kobra drummer Carmine Appice stated, “since the break up of King Kobra in the 80s, I have been touring the world with different bands, doing clinics, playing with Vanilla Fudge plus a 40 piece orchestra and my drum show SLAMM! Where ever I went people gave me King Kobra CDs and records to sign, and I thought that 2010 was the time to get the band back together to rock! So King Kobra is back with the original line up except for the singer Mark or Marcie Free. Instead, one of my favorite singers, Paul Shortino (Duke Fame) is on vocals…so get ready to rock with King Kobra.”
