Review:
Paradice is a female fronted hard rock band from Sweden that describes their
sound as “high octane Heavy Metal and dirty Glam Rock.” Now that sounds like a killer
combination, so does the band sound as good as they claim? The answer is yes…this band
sounds excellent and the male members wear enough makeup to fit comfortably in any
glam genre.

  Vocalist Magdalena has a unique voice (perhaps a bit like Skew
Siskin‘s Nina C. Alice) that sounds rough and always on the verge of cracking,
but I love singers that sound like they’ve drank too much whiskey and smoked too many
cigarettes. Another great thing is that every one of these songs has a chorus that
you can sing along too as it burrows itself into your head. “Tear Up The Night” is
my favorite track, as the guitar and vocals are let loose. This four-song demo also
has an added CD-ROM portion with lyrics, bios and photographs, which is very nicely
