Review:
Master Creator is the third and newest full length release by the power metal band, Sinbreed. This is my first opportunity to hear the band and I have to say that I’m impressed. I would definitely recommend this to fans of Helloween, Blind Guardian, Firewind, Sinner, etc.
The production and sound quality are very good. The band seems to be firing on all cylinders. My favorite track “The Voice” is actually quite different than most of the other material represented here. It feels more like a more stripped down straight ahead rocker. Starting out with “Creation Of Reality”, Sinbreed are set to pull no punches and each track flows seamlessly into the next to make a really cohesive release. The lyrics are quite catchy and lead vocalist Herbie Langhans does a masterful job in belting out these tunes. He has a unique, rougher sounding voice that gives Sinbreed a different sound. The entire band is talented and it shows in their flawless execution. We even get a power metal ballad with “At The Gate.” While, this track is probably my least favorite, it is done to perfection and gives the album a short break between the rapid fire assault of the other tracks. The band does an excellent job of creating heavy songs while maintaining a melodic quality throughout.
This is a welcome edition to my music collection and if you like the aforementioned bands, you should give it a listen. This is a solid, professionally crafted release that is both a surprise and welcome treat.
