Ritchie Blackmore A Dad Again At 65

British rocker Ritchie Blackmore has become a dad again at 65 – the musician has welcomed a daughter with his singer/songwriter wife, Candice Night.

The former Deep Purple and Rainbow guitarist welcomed Autumn Esmerelda with 39-year-old Night on May 27, reports Blabbermouth.net.

The couple, which married in 2008, currently perform together as folk rock duo Blackmore’s Night.

And Blackmore claims the happy couple’s the new addition is already serving as “inspiration” for the band’s new CD, Autumn Sky, set for release later this year.

Autumn is Blackmore’s second child – he also has a son with his first wife, Margrit Volkmar, who was born in 1964.
