Rockets To Ruin Putting Finishing Touches On New CD

July 21, 2010

Atlanta based ROCKETS TO RUIN have re-launched with a new album (tentatively entitled “Mutual Disrespect”) and are hitting the road in the coming weeks to bring their live show to their fans – old and new. They are currently in the studio putting the final touches on their new CD, produced by Jan Nerud (Lil Jon, Outkast, Edwin McCain, Ludacris, Rehab, Travis Tritt, Gregg Allman), which boasts their trademark sound based on solid riffs, catchy choruses, and in-your-face rock’n’roll attitude. Founding members Chris Taylor (bass) and Cleve Willis (vocals) round out the lineup with new guitarist Keith Horne, who brings a fresh shot of energy and stage presence to their look and sound. Filling in on drums for their first round of shows is Brent Addison (as RTR’s long time drummer Rob Hammersmith has recently joined Skid Row).

With new material like “Black Cloud” and “Got Me Down” – along with new versions of fan favorites like “Screamin At Me” and “Helpless” from their last album “Love Drugs Rebellion” – ROCKETS TO RUIN is geared up for their return to the stage opening shows for Cinderella beginning in Ft. Lauderdale FL on August 7 and Winston Salem NC on August 11. They are also working on a co-headliner tour sponsored by Jagermeister to be announced shortly.
