Roxin’ Palace Release Self-Titled Debut Album
June 18, 2013
Roxin’ Palace is a new Italian sleaze rock/metal band who released their self-titled debut album through SOAL MUsic on June 7th. The album was recorded at Artesonika Studios by Fabio D’Amore (Pathosray, Serenity), mixed by Staffan Karlsson (Roxette, Arch Enemy, Stevie Wonder, Firewind) and features Elvenking/Hell In The Club vocalist Davide ‘Damna’ Moras on the song “We Are Loosing Both”.
Roxin’ Palace was founded in 2011 by Alex Corona, guitar player of Revoltons, and Elvis “El Chino” Ortolan, former Elvenking drummer. Alex recruited his friend Emanuele Della Schiava to play rhythm guitar and the band later completed their rhythm section by adding bassist Enos Zuliani, who had many years of experience mainly in hard rock cover bands. With the addition of young singer Axel Lessio, the Roxin’ Palace line-up was solidified in March, 2012.
The band began recording their debut album right away at Artesonika Studios, putting together 10 tracks. Later, the group started playing live by sharing the stage with acts such Phantom X (USA), Salamandra (Czech Rep) and Jettblack (UK).
