Rumoured price tag to land Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard and Poison tour stop

Mötley Crüe have now confirmed that they will be touring again and “blowing up” their “cessation of touring agreement” which was concluded about six years ago.

The group has not yet confirmed exactly what its touring plans will be and whether it will be touring with Def Leppard and Poison during the summer of 2020.

That being said, it appears that the tour package of Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard and Poison is being shopped around at this time.

In an article titled The Motley Crue Tour Is Too Expensive For Iowa, Iowa’s 94.1 KRNA Classic Rock reported as follows:

“An industry friend of mine told be he was offered the show. The numbers breakout like this according to his inquiry:

Motley Crue: $2 Million

Def Leppard $1 Million

Poison: $250,000″

You can read the rest of the article at Iowa’s 94.1 KRNA Classic Rock‘s website.

If those numbers are indeed correct, that would mean that Mötley Crüe would likely be the headlining act (at least in North America) preceded by Def Leppard and with Poison opening out of those three bands.

Assuming that the Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard and Poison tour package could attract 40,000 people to a venue, a venue would need to charge an average price of $81.25 per ticket just to cover the cost of the three bands.
