Sammy Hagar & The Circle release rendition of Van Halen’s “Good Enough” via ‘Lockdown Sessions’

In the spirit of social distancing to stop the spread of the coronavirus, Sammy Hagar & The Circle consisting of the ‘Red Rocker’ Sammy Hagar (Montrose, Van Halen, Chickenfoot) on lead vocals and guitar, Michael Anthony (Van Halen, Chickenfoot) on bass, Jason Bonham (Bonham, Foreigner, Black Country Communion) on drums and Vic Johnson on guitar have released a video of their rendition of Van Halen‘s “Good Enough” via their Lockdown Sessions. “Good Enough” appeared on Van Halen‘s 5150 album, which was the first featuring Hagar on lead vocals.

The caption on Hagar‘s YouTube channel indicates:

“??One more week in COVID-19 lockdown and Sammy & The Circle continue to get their jam on. This week it’s the Van Hagar classic “Good Enough” that the Circle was thinking of including in the set list for the next tour. What do you think? Stay Healthy. Stay Home. Stay Tuned.”

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Van Halen‘s 5150 album: “Was 5150 a worthy follow up to 1984? Certainly, the sales figures indicate that it was with 5150 going six times platinum in the United States alone and ending up as Van Halen‘s third best selling album to date. While I still prefer 1984 due to the well known songs that came off that album, 5150 is always an enjoyable album to listen to (even those three first songs), has stood the test of time quite well and was more than “good enough.””
