Santa Cruz part ways with guitarist Brody DeRozie and announce 19 year old replacement
Guitarist Brodie DeRozie‘s time in Santa Cruz was short lived and it’s hard to say that he was really part of the band since he was announced in mid-April 2018 as the first new member to replace the vacant slots left behind a month earlier by guitarist Johnny Parkkonen, bassist Middy Toivonen and drummer Tan Fagerstorm. It appears that Santa Cruz frontman Archie Cruz didn’t add any personnel after that and DeRozie is now out of the band and replaced by a 19 year old male dubbed the “Russian Rocket.”
The following message was posted on Santa Cruz‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“After working with Brody DeRozie for a few months, we mutually came to the conclusion that he was not the man for Santa Cruz. We want to wish Brody all the best to his future endeavours in music. May we introduce the Russian Rocket, 19 year old guitar prodigy: @pavcruzz
