Sebastian Bach to play ‘Slave To The Grind’ album in its entirety during one of two shows at Whisky

Ex-Skid Row lead vocalist Sebastian Bach has a real treat for die-hard Skid Row fans as his solo band will be playing his former band’s second studio album Slave To The Grind in its entirety at one of the group’s two shows at the Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood, California, USA. Bach is scheduled to play two Los Angeles shows on October 11 and 12, 2019.

During an interview on SiriusXM‘s Trunk Nation yesterday, Bach advised (as transcribed by Blabbermouth with slight edits):

“On this tour, we are playing two nights in Hollywood, California at the legendary Whisky A Go Go… So if someone’s buying a ticket for the first night, they’re gonna get the first Skid Row record in its entirety. On the second night, for one night only, Bobby Jarzombek [drums], Rob DeLuca [bass], Brent Woods [guitar] and myself, on the second night in Hollywood at the Whisky, we’ll play [Skid Row‘s second] record Slave To The Grind in its entirety.”

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Slave To The Grind: “In conclusion, Skid Row‘s 1991 Slave To The Grind in my mind basically took bands like Poison, Trixter, BulletBoys and gave them a swift hard kick in the ass into the cheapie bins in my books! It’s amazing that Skid Row grew by leaps and bounds from the debut in just over two years! Gone was the sterile production of the debut. Gone was “Big Guns” and those fruity kind of metal tunes. In its place was Slave To The Grind with heavy songs and playing, production, artwork — everything. Hell, even the lyrics are classic. I mean how can you not dig the use of the word “sapsucker”in “Mudkicker?” Exactly!”
