Heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath opened their final The End tour at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska yesterday while promising to play some deep cuts.
The setlist is notable for a few songs that have not been played in years including “Tomorrow’s Dream” from the Vol. 4 album which was reportedly not played live by the band since 2012 and “Hand Of Doom” from the Paranoid album which had reportedly not been performed live by the group since 1978. Of note, Black Sabbath did not include any songs in their set from their critically acclaimed last album 13. In terms of album representation, three tracks were played from the group’s self-titled debut (1970) album, six from their sophomore album Paranoid (1970), two from Master Of Reality (1971), two from Vol. 4 (1972) and one from Technical Ecstacy (1976).
