Singer Stevie Rachelle finally meets Tales From The Porn Brazilian bandmates in person
More than six months after the release of Tales From The Porn‘s sensational debut album H.M.M.V., the group’s American based (and Tuff) singer Stevie Rachelle finally met with his Brazilian bandmates — lead guitarist Andy Sun, bassist Bento Mello, rhythm guitarist Bruno Marx, drummer Ed Avian and keyboardist Igor Godoi — for the first time in person as Rachelle had flown to Brazil to play a handful of shows with his bandmates in early April 2018.
Tales From The Porn‘s debut album H.M.M.V. finished #1 on the Sleaze Roxx’s Top Ten Albums of 2017 as Sleaze Roxx stated: “If someone would have told me at the beginning of the year that Tuff frontman Stevie Rachelle would have the #1 album on the Sleaze Roxx’s Top Ten Albums of 2017, I frankly wouldn’t have believed them. But, that is exactly what has happened. While there is no question that Rachelle puts on a clinic for singers on how to really engage the listener with some great lyrics and different vocal intonations, the key to Tales From The Porn‘s successful debut album H.M.M.V. lies with the songs themselves. Quite simply, Tales From The Porn have come up with some fantastic songs and bring a much needed dose of ’80s hard rock and guitar tone to the table. What’s quite interesting about Tales From The Porn is that Brazil based guitarist Andy Sunand bassist Bento Mello started the group, recruited some other Brazilian musicians and after finishing their first few songs, elected to have an American singer from the ’80s scene front the band. What is truly astonishing is that with the advances of modern technology, Rachelle has yet to meet his Brazilian bandmates in person. The title of the opening track “Back To The ’80s” describes to a T what you get from Tales From The Porn on their debut album and that is simply fantastic!”

“No words can express how grateful I am for the fans of rock n’ roll bands. Especially the bands I have performed with over the last 3+ decades around the world.
As many of my friends, family and followers know, I recorded a record with a #Brazilian band called #TalesFromThePorn that was released last fall.
We were on separate continents, in different countries, over 6,000 miles apart and speaking different languages. But somehow we managed to write and record an AWESOME album. We did all of this without ever meeting, or even talking to each other. Only through emails and social networks.
This past week I flew to Brazil, and have now met the band for the first time and what an experience it has been.
Andy, Bento, Bruno, Igor and Ed, you all are amazing people. Thank you so much for all you have done for this band.
To everyone in Brazil, thank. you SO MUCH for the love and support you have shown me, along with the band.
