Sister Switchblade’s debut album ‘Best Served Cold’ available for download

Australian rockers Sister Switchblade featuring Babyjane singer Andy Smith will be releasing their debut album Best Served Cold at a CD release party at the Carine Tavern [presumably in Duncraig, Australia] on May 13, 2017. The group’s debut album is available for download via cdbaby.

Speaking exclusively with Sleaze Roxx, Smith stated: “What I can tell you is Sister Switchblade was born out of the death of Babyjane. Babyjane called it quits on New Year’s Day 2016 while we were in LA. One week later, I was in the studio with Jon E Love recording a song I’d written called “Sister Switchblade.” Me and Jon had met a few years earlier and had made a plan to record something somewhere down the track. Now seemed like a good time. Anyway, I came back home to Perth and started working in the studio on the songs I had been writing in preparation for the new Babyjane album. I used a number of the best rockers from around the Perth scene and an album started taking shape. So it was decided that the band would be called Sister Switchblade. We are now in rehearsals for our launch but the final line-up is not 100% so we don’t really want to start naming names, etc. until we are totally set. All of the guys that have helped out are in other bands so it’s a matter of juggling scheduling, etc.”
