Slash confirms that Guns N’ Roses have started working on new material
Great news for Guns N’ Roses fans as lead guitarist Slash has now confirmed that the group has started working on new material.
In an interview with the Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown podcast, Slash advised (as transcribed by Blabbermouth):Ā “The thing is, we haven’t really done anything yet, and I don’t like to say anything. You know how people used to promote shit and lie through their teeth? So I just wanted to be honest about it, and so there was really no telling what we were gonna do at that point. But at this point, I do know that we are gonna do this run [of shows in the fall], and we’ve already started working on stuff. So, there you go.”
Back in early 2018, Billboard reported Guns Nā Roses‘ Not In This Lifetime Tour featuring the reunion of classic line-up members ā singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan ā reportedly grossed over $475 million making it the fourth highest grossing tour of all-time.
