Slash Premieres First Sample From Upcoming ‘Apocalyptic Love’
February 24, 2012
Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash will be releasing his second solo album, Apocalyptic Love’, on May 22nd through his own label Dik Hayd International distributed through EMI. The CD follows his 2010 debut album ‘Slash’ and his first ever live solo album, the two CD/DVD set ‘Made In Stoke 24/7/11’. Slash has posted a sneak peek of the new single “You’re A Lie”, which will go out to radio Monday.
For the new album, Slash — along with and his bandmates Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Todd Kerns (bass) — have teamed with producer Eric Valentine, who also produced the ‘Slash’ disc. All the songs were written together by Slash and Kennedy, and cameras have been rolling throughout the entire making of the album. Check out exclusive behind-the-scenes footage airing weekly at www.youtube.com/user/neverhidefilms.
Slash is also partnering with Classic Rock Magazine to offer an exclusive fanpack of ‘Apocalyptic Love’. This fanpack includes the full official album, a 132 page magazine, a double sided A1 poster, and a metal pin badge. Those who purchase the fanpack through www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk will also receive an exclusive keyring.
