South African sleaze rockers L.A. Cobra to play in USA for first time at Rock N Skull ’18

Great news for South African sleaze rockers L.A. Cobra as it was announced earlier today that the group will be opening the festivities at the sixth edition of the Rock N Skull Festival, which will be held in Peoria, Illinois, USA from October 26 to 28, 2018. This will be the first time that L.A. Cobra play in the USA. The group just released its third studio album Shotgun Slinger back in October 2017.

Although it was at first announced that the Rock N Skull line-up for 2018 would be announced on February 14, 2018, Rock N Skull organizer Justin Murr has started announcing the line-up one band at a time. The following message was posted on Rock N Skull 18‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“You onboard yet ??? On Friday Oct 26, joining Pretty Boy Floyd, CrashDiet, & Anthony Corder of Tora Tora is the South African Sleaze Kings making their U.S. debut please give a big RNS welcome ….. L.A. Cobra“

Speaking exclusively with Sleaze Roxx, L.A. Cobra frontman Don Cobra spoke about playing in the USA for the first time as he stated: “Yes, it’s super special for us. It’s what we’ve been waiting for all these years, and when I woke up this morning, it wasn’t even a thought. It all happened in a matter of a few minutes. I still can’t believe its real [laughs]. I’m so grateful for Justin and crew of RNS for making this happen, and am super excited to share a stage with Crashdïet and Pretty Boy Floyd. It’s still so unreal for me [laughs] but we’re gonna give America our best. See you guys soon ❤”

L.A. Cobra‘s next video for the song “War” will be premiering on Sleaze Roxx on Christmas day (December 25, 2017).
