Steel Panther looking for new bassist and will consider every video that is submitted

Following the surprise announcement about a month ago that long-time bassist Lexxi Foxx was no longer in Steel Panther, the remaining band members consisting of lead vocalist Michael Starr, guitarist Satchel and drummer Stix Zadinia are now actively searching for a new bassist.

Steel Panther‘s press release indicates:

“As you may or may not know Steel Panther is looking for a new bass player.  Our socials and site have been overwhelmed with messages from people who think they are the one.

You think you have what it takes?  Do you have the look?  Do you have the chops?  Do you have the sexiness?  And are there any warrants for your arrest domestically or internationally?

If you’ve answered Yes, and one No, to all of these questions and you want to be part of the sexiest, dirtiest, most fun, rock n roll extravaganza ever known to man or woman, then click here and follow the instructions to submit.

We will consider every video and if you made the cut, you’ll hear from us.

Let the submission begin right here.”

The group’s website provides the following instructions:

“Instructions:

  1. Be bitchin
  2. Upload a video of you playing any Steel Panther song titled “yourname_songname” here.
  3. Upload a video of you introducing yourself to Steel Panther explaining why you should be our bassist titled “yourname_introduction” here.”

Steel Panther‘s albums to date consist of Feel The Steel (2009), Balls Out (2011),  All You Can Eat (2014), Live From Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage (2016), Lower The Bar (2017) and Heavy Metal Rules (2019).
