Stephen Pearcy has enough material for two full albums as about to record sixth solo album

Stephen Pearcy and his long-time writing partner / guitarist Erik Ferentinos have provided an update on the Ratt frontman’s upcoming sixth solo album.

The following message was posted on Pearcy‘s Facebook page earlier today:

RATT’s Stephen Pearcy and long time lead guitarist (Pearcy’s solo band) and co writer Erik Ferentinos will be hitting MT studios again to start work on Pearcy’s 6th solo record soon. The two have more then enough material for (2) full albums. There has been a few teaser songs released during the Covid lockdown from Pearcy, he noted that these songs won’t be on the new record to be released on Top Fuel Records 2021. More news as we get it.”

Pearcy released a demo recording of the track “Making Crazy” in early March 2020 and a video for the single “All That I Want” in early May 2020.

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Pearcy‘s last solo album View To A Thrill: “Although I have grown to like View To A Thrill, it does not measure up to the classic Ratt albums. Nevertheless, it’s a better than average album and shows that Pearcy still has a lot left in the tank. I wonder what the results would have been had Pearcy teamed up with Warren DeMartini in terms of the writing for some of these songs. Pearcy‘s solo bandmate Erik Ferentinos has proven to be a good complement for the Ratt singer writing wise but I think the songs on View To A Thrill had the potential to be even better.”
