Steve Lynch and his fiancé to play Autograph songs live with their new band which will include keyboards

Guitarist Steve Lynch may have played his last show with Autograph at the Illinois State Fair in Sprinfield, Illinois, USA back on August 9, 2019 but he will continue to play the band’s songs live. Lynch‘s fiancé Alena Rae announced via Facebook yesterday that her and Lynch‘s new band / project 2:22 will be playing brand new songs alongside some of the greatest Autograph songs. Interestingly, Rae announced that the Autograph  tracks played by 2:22 will include keyboards / synths, which Autograph ditched when the band reformed back in 2014.

The following message was posted in part on Alena Rae‘s Facebook page yesterday:

“Backstage at the concert with my honey Steve!!!

What an unbelievable show he put on..

We had such a BLAST!!!! I’m VERY proud and just love him to pieces!!

This was his last show with Autograph and though it’s bittersweet Steve and I are BOTH SO EXCITED for our new project 2:22..

The doors opening for us in the USA and Europe are unreal.. We WILL be performing BRAND new material ALONG with performing some of the greatest Autograph songs from the original lineup WITH Steve‘s signature sound mixed with the awesome keyboard/synth that made Autograph the hit band it became in the 80s..

He deserves praise and recognition where it is due and I am honored and humbled to be in this project 2:22 And get to share the stage with such talent !!! Backstage studio video soon/rehearsals and tour dates to come!!!?????”
