Stevie Rachelle recalls great response when playing Brady Bunch and Gilligan’s Island theme songs live
Tuff frontman Stevie Rachelle took a trip down memory lane today with his following Facebook post, which states in part:
“People ask me, “Can you play guitar?”

My reply, “Is a Giraffe tall?”
I’m no Yngwie but I do know enough chords to get by.
30 years ago I would rock the Ovation 12-String on a couple songs a night.
Mainly “I Hate Kissing You Goodbye” and “So Many Seasons.”
A few years later I’d play acoustic on “Better Off Dead” in the set as well, along with my (solo) renditions of the Brady Bunch song and “Puff The Magic Dragon.”
Yes, you read that correctly.
I would play those and sometimes throw in the theme from Gilligan’s Island.
And guess what?
Everyone knew the words and sang along too.
