Italian hard rockers Stick It Out have posted a new song online at www.myspace.com/stickitout. The song, entitled “Again”, will appear on the band’s follow-up to their 2008 self titled debut.
Stick It Out was born in 2005 from an idea of the two guitarists, Dave E Dee and Andy. The band’s purpose is to create a pure hard rock with some punk and metal influences, but trying to keep a personal and direct style. The first lineup of Stick It Out is composed byFreddie (Vocals), Dave E Dee (Lead Guitar), Andy (Lead Guitar), Tripp (Bass) and Fo(Drums). Everyone, has played in the past for the mostly renowned bands in the Italianunderground but mainly, Stick It Out have been influenced by the 80’s street rock and 70’spunk scene. The best way to appreciate Stick It Out is to see them live!! Here, you can tastetheir strength, their affinity, their aggression, their attitude, but, most of all, you can enjoy thevarious nature of their suggestion, passing from their own tunes to readapted covers in anabsolutely personal way.
The band, after two sold out promos (“Idol of mass” and “I Wanna BeA Parasite Too”) and two videos (“Neat Neat Neat” and “I Wanna Be A Parasite Too”), wasinvited to join the compilation “Glamnation Vol 4″, by Demon Doll Records with the hit – single”Stop Teasin’ Me”, for wich was shot a new promotional video. In March ’09, Stick It Outreleased the “Let There Be Punk!” ep, wich is a collection of 7 punk songs loved by the band.Actually, they have already shared the stage with some big acts such Backyard Babies, Bullet,Crucified Barbara, Kee Marcello (Europe), Adam Bomb and in 2008, the band played asheadliner of the “Rome caput glam” fest.
In July ’09, Stick It Out’s debut album (called just”Stick It Out”), is released on Sliptrick records. In September ’09 as promotion for the newrecord, the band begin an Italian Tour (Let there Be Tour ’09) with Innocent Rosie, getting agreat success by the audience. After the tour and 3 years spent in gigs, recording studios, tour- bus, destroyed vans and great satisfactions, the band splits from their singer Freddie anddecide to continue on its own road with Dave E Dee (already guitarist of the band) on vocals.
Now, Stick It Out are already busy working on some new stuff that will be included in theirsecond album and a brand new single will be online soon as a preview.
