Stone Temple Pilots To Reform

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS TO REFORM:

January 22, 2008

Scott Weiland has alerted Stone Temple Pilots fans to look out for a reunion in coming months.

Weiland made the announcement at a solo gig in Florida on the weekend.

Weiland, currently lead singer of Velvet Revolver, fronted STP between 1990 to when the band broke up in 2003.

He then formed Velvet Revolver with Slash and other members of Guns ‘n’ Roses.

Since the STP breakup, bass player Robert DeLeo and his brother, guitarist Dean, formed Army of Anyone and released their debut album in 2006.

Drummer Eric Kretz now runs Bomb Shelter Studios in downtown LA.
