Straight Six have written their next album and aim to release it later this summer

The band members in Denver, Colorado, USA based rockers Straight Six were recently interviewed by Upstream Indie. Straight Six released their debut self-titled EP in early 2018 and their debut full-length album Full Circle later that year. The Straight Six EP finished at #7 on the Sleaze Roxx’s Top Ten Albums of 2018 while Full Circle landed the #9 position on the Sleaze Roxx Readers’ Top 20 Albums of 2018.

In terms of what Straight Six are planning creatively for the rest of the year, they advised: “We’ve already written our next full album and will be heading into the studio with acclaimed Los Angeles producer Elan Morrison. We’re hoping to get new music out later this summer.  It’s going to be big, massive and epic!”

With respect to how Straight Six originated, they indicated: “Glen had formed Straight Six back in the Sunset Strip days with different band members. They were actually signed by Warner Bros. based on some of the songs we do now but sadly this was during the massive downfall of the music industry due to Napster and all that… So there was never a demo or album recorded.  We all wanted to be in a band with each other someday… So when we all ended up back in Denver it worked out perfectly to start up Straight Six in its current form.”
