Streetlight Circus to release new album ‘Needle Down’ on October 7th
New York based rockers Streetlight Circus are set to release their third album entitled Needle Down on October 7, 2016.
Rumbledog Music‘s press release states (with slight edits):
“The new collection of songs from Streetlight Circus is due to be completed and ready for release in October, 2016. Needle Down was recorded at Spin Recording Studios in Long Island City, NY (Lamb of God, Black Tide, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and Snake Mountain Studios in Monroe, NY. It will be mixed and mastered by famed engineer Bob St. John (Extreme, Duran Duran, Collective Soul).
Needle Down continues the Streetlight Circus tradition of in-your-face hard rock, mixing an old school vibe with a modern approach to songwriting. The album, like the band’s previous releases, is full of high-energy, melodic rock songs displaying the band’s penchant for solid musicianship, soaring vocals and memorable hooks.
Since 2010, Streetlight Circus has been a hot property in the resurgence of hard rock and roll. The band has rocked thousands thanks to invites to festivals such as the M3 Rock Fest, Rock ‘N Derby, The Great South Bay Music Festival, The Soundwave Music Festival, and others. The quartet has performed to packed houses throughout the U.S., from the Sunset Strip in Hollywood to theatres in New York City and up and down the East Coast.
An ever-growing fan base has seen Streetlight Circus share bills at large venues with a wide variety of heavyweights such as Halestorm, Twisted Sister, Sixx:AM, Anthrax, Megadeth, Buckcherry, Faster Pussycat, A Day to Remember, Five Finger Death Punch, Queensryche, Ghost, Shinedown, Tom Keifer, Bret Michaels, The Doobie Brothers, Billy Squier, Kix, and countless others. The band prides itself on being professional and easy to work with while providing concertgoers with a high voltage live show.
The band has received positive press and support from major newspapers, leading hard rock online publications, and Internet and terrestrial radio from Texas to Denmark.
Needle Down follows the well reviewed self-titled 2012 Streetlight Circus debut album and the 2013 follow-up 4-song EP, The Snake Mountain Sessions. Pre-Order of the new CD is happening NOW at www.streetlightcircus.com.”
