Striker announce departure of guitarist Chris Segger and his replacement John Simon Fallon
Canadian heavy metal rockers Striker have some more changes to their line-up as guitarist Chris Segger has left the band for a second time and his replacement is John Simon Fallon, who is joining the group for a second time. Lead vocalist Dan Cleary, guitarist Tim Brown, bassist Pete Klassen and drummer Jonathan Webster round out the Striker line-up. Segger was in Striker from 2007 to 2014 and again from 2017 to 2021, and he played guitar on the studio albums Eyes In The Night (2010), Armed To The Teeth (2012), City of Gold (2014) and Play To Win (2018).
The following messages were posted on Striker‘s Facebook page on January 24 and 25, 2022:
“Hey guys!
As some of you may already know our long time friend and band mate Chris will be moving on from the band.
We’ve shared a lot of wild experiences together and although it’s sad to see him go we are excited for him and his next journey in life!
Thanks Chris for sharing this amazing and strange ride with us!!
– Dan, Jono, Pete and Tim.”
“Join us in welcoming John Simon Fallon back to the band on shred guitar duties!
When asked for a statement he replied, “Bro, we’re gonna shred so hard.”
Some of you may have seen John fill in on guitar for us previously on tour between 2015 and 2017.
He’s back!
