Suicide Bombers celebrate milestone of dropping their debut video single from their set
Some bands continue to play their debut single in a live setting all the way through their musical career. For example, Faster Pussycat continue to play their first three singles — “Babylon”, “Don’t Change That Song” and “Bathroom Wall” — from their debut self-titled album. Some bands release enough material over the years to be able to forge ahead without having to play their debut single anymore. Norwegian sleaze rockers Suicide Bombers are in the latter category after releasing four studio albums — Criminal Record (2012), The Sex Tapes (2015), Suicide Idols (2017) and Murder Couture (2019). Of note, the Suicide Bombers‘ latest studio album Murder Couture finished at #9 on the Sleaze Roxx’s Top Ten Albums of 2019 and #18 on the Sleaze Roxx Readers’ Top 20 Albums of 2019.
The following message was posted on Suicide Bombers‘ Facebook page earlier today:
“7 Years and 1 Month ago our first video was uploaded to youtube.
The song was performed at every concert from the beginning ’til the end of the SUiCiDE iDOLS tour, but was dropped in favour of newer material at the start of the MURDER COUTURE tour.
Scratching your first ever video off the set-list was a huge moment for all of us. That’s when you know you have a lot of great songs!”
