Tara’s Secret Reissue Two Albums For Download

February 27, 2011

UK rock band Tara’s Secret have re-issued their 2006 album “Tomorrow The World” and 2009 release “Vertigo” for download at knockdown prices, with all bonus tracks included.

VERTIGO has seen the band reach rock music fans across the world, with stunning reviews from Argentina to Japan. Regular comparisons with Thunder, Survivor, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and Gotthard have filled the reviews, with special attention drawn to the band’s songwriting skills, Johnny Trowbridge’s soulful vocals and the fiery guitar playing of Richie Beardsley.

TOMORROW THE WORLD was the band’s first studio album released in 2006. A more eclectic mix than Vertigo, brought the band support slots with the likes of Y&T, ACT and Jadis. Both albums were released under the band’s own Black Cat Music, despite several label offers.

Band founder member Craig Chapman comments that it has been a fantastic and rewarding experience receiving emails and reviews from so many countries, a guy driving 200 miles to buy Vertigo on import in Peru, daytime radio in the North Brazilian jungle towns, Chrysalis taking our music to Japan, over 30,000 web hits most months from so many countries, we’ve even added Spanish and German language pages to our band website.

The band is presently working on more new songs and with gigs including Z Rock, Rock & Blues Festival and MFN, they’ll be onstage in front of plenty of UK rock fans again through 2011.

Vertigo has been available through both ITunes and Amazon and a third of all sales for the album so far have come via this route. The songs can now also be found at ITunes, Amazon, Spotify, lLike, Mog, Tesco, IMesh, Pastio Tunes, EMusic, Zune, Nokia, Shockhound, Napster, Thumbplay, Imvu & Amazon on Demand. CDs are also still available from ST Records, Destiny and direct from the band’s website — www.taras-secret.com — whilst stocks last.
