Tesla to release new live album ‘Full Throttle Live’ during the summer of 2023

Tesla consisting of lead vocalist Jeff Keith, guitarists Frank Hannon and Dave Rude, and bassist Brian Wheat, and drummer Steve Brown have unveiled a lyric video for the live audio of their latest single “Time To Rock” from their upcoming live album Full Throttle Live, which will be released during the summer of 2023.

The following message was posted in part on Tesla‘s Facebook page back on February 16, 2023:

“Have something new for you to check out, head on over to our YouTube page and check out a new lyric video for Time to Rock! The audio portion is a live version that we recorded at Full Throttle Saloon this past summer at the Sturgis Rally. The song will be included on a new live album due out this summer called “Full Throttle Live“. More details coming on the release in the coming months.”

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Tesla‘s live record Mechanical Resonance Live, which was released back in August 2016: “The sound on the live album gives the songs more of a sonically polished and tamed edge as I remember the guitars and music sounding more penetrating and sonically piercing on the debut album — I admit that I have not heard it in a while with no more vinyl player to play my copy of the debut album from thirty years ago — than what we have on Mechanical Resonance Live! Having recently seen Tesla open this summer for Def Leppard and REO Speedwagon, I find that the live sound on Mechanical Resonance Live! is very close to how the band sounded when I last saw them play live.”
