European rock label Napalm Records are extremely proud to announce the worldwide signing of The Answer.
Founded in 1992 by Markus Riedler, Napalm has become one of the most successful independent metal and hard rock labels in the world. The signing of The Answer heralds a strategic new drive for the label to develop a cross over rock roster and The Answer will be a spearhead priority release for the label in 2013.
Says head of A&R Thomas Caser, “All @ Napalm Records and its affiliated partners are extremely proud to have The Answer in the Napalm Records Rock roster from now on. We are happy to share the vision of the band and their management! 2013 will be a great year for The Answer and we are eager to start working on the band’s upcoming new album!”
The new venture also encompasses the re-release of The Answer back catalogue in specific key territories where rights are available but specifically the USA. Napalm have a strong worldwide network of distribution partners including Warner ADA in USA, a new deal with Universal in GAS, Rough trade in Benelux and a whole host of other key territory affiliates.
First signed to Albert Productions in 2006, The Answer released three successful albums over the course of the last 6 years the latest being the highly acclaimed ‘Revival’ on Spinefarm Records (UMG) in October 2011 — “this radio-friendly record revives the hard and heavy sounds of greats such as AC/DC and Guns N’ Roses”, stated SleazxeRoxx.com in a review. After a busy summer of European festival and support shows, The Answer are now writing/co-writing in advance of starting pre-production for their new album scheduled for release in the first half of 2013.
