The Blackfires, a band of musicians from all corners of the world (Moscow, Leeds, Beirut, Israel and New York) dedicated to bringing “rock” without the prefixes back to masses, have released their first official single off their upcoming EP. The single, entitled “Grapeshot” and produced/mixed by Wayne Silver at The Ice Plant, is available for free download and streaming below.
During their short 11-month tenure on the New York scene, they have delivered honest, stage burning, sold-out performances at Gramercy Theatre twice, Webster Hall, The Double Seven, as well as many other venues including The Legendary Dobbs, Philadelphia. With people taking notice quickly, already The Blackfires have earned high praise such as “the Charlton Heston of unsigned bands”
