The Dead Daisies welcome back singer John Corabi and add bassist Michael Devin
The ship seems to have been righted once again. After parting ways with frontman John Corabi and bassist Marco Mendoza during the summer of 2019, The Dead Daisies recruited lead vocalist / bassist Glenn Hughes to replace the duo. The Dead Daisies went on to release the studio albums Holy Ground (2021) and Radiance (2022) but many of their fans seemed to wish that Corabi was still fronting the band. The Dead Daisies have just released a video via Facebook showing both Corabi and bassist Michael Devin (ex-Whitesnake) rehearsing along with band founder / rhythm guitarist Dave Lowy, lead guitarist Doug Aldrich and drummer Brian Tichy.
Although The Dead Daisies‘ Facebook post earlier today does not specifically mention Corabi or Devin, some of the band’s comments to its fans from that Facebook thread does confirm the news.
“Jacqueline Franskoviak Hi Jacqueline, thank you for welcoming back JC and saying hi to Michael. It’s gonna rock and we are happy to have them. Yes we are a collective of different players and we love them all. We too will miss Glenn who we love dearly but he is out celebrating the 50th anniversary of Deep Purple‘s ‘Burn‘ album… absolutely amazing and we wish him the best. Peace and RnR happiness“
On getting congratulated for bringing Corabi back in the fold:
“Humberto Diaz Cheers Humberto, we are lucky to have him wanna come back n rock with us. “
