Dutch rockers The Dirty Denims consisting of lead vocalist / guitarist Mirjam Sieben, guitarist Jeroen Teunis and drummer Suzanne Driessen have announced that they have a new bassist by the name of Sebastiaan Verhoeven. Back in June 2022, The Dirty Denims and bassist Marc Eijkhout revealed that they had decided to part ways.

The following message was posted on The Dirty Denims‘ Facebook page earlier today:

“Today we like to share with you who our new bass player will be. Drumrollllll please….. It’s Sebastiaan Verhoeven!

“Hello and what’s up everybody. I’m so excited to finally announce that I will be the new bass player for this awesome band! I am a 31 year old Belgian dude and been playing guitar and bass for the bigger part of my life now.

Like most teenagers with a guitar, I started playing in local coverbands to impress girls. After this, my focus shifted to the music and I began to take things more seriously. Since then I play(ed) in some really cool bands, playing clubs and festival throughout the country. We even shared some bills with the Denims without realizing it back then.

I love this no-nonsense rock and roll. Just strapping on the guitar and go full throttle. Obviously there are shoes to fill and I will do my utter best for the next chapters to come. I can’t wait to hit the stage and meet all of you!”

Grts Sebastiaan
