The Hellrats Debut “Ton Of Bricks” Video

November 11, 2012

The Hellrats have released a music video for the single “Ton Of Bricks”, from their new album ‘Songs For The Divine And The Tormented’. The New York City band features Grimm Jack vocalist Billy Kaye Kohout, session guitarist Dennis Deen (formerly of Mr. Nasty), bassist Sam Hariss and drummer Scott Fillengere.

Ever since their youthful rise back in the early ’90s, the boys of NYC sleaze have delivered their own brand of straight forward fist to face rock. Their new album ‘Songs For The Divine And The Tormented’ contains 10 original tracks featuring “Dirty Girl”, “Take You Down”, “Ton Of Bricks” and “Eyes Of Blue”.

With the smell of sleaze and rock n’ roll rage, The Hellrats were formed in 1990 by guitarist Dennis Deen and bassist Eric Pratika. They played their first gigs at local Manhattan and Long Island clubs and inspiration for the band came from early Motley Crue, KISS, Guns N’ Roses and Alice Cooper. Dennis Deen notably has worked and collaborated with such artists as P Diddy, Keith Caputo and black metal pioneers Mayhem among others.
