The Treatment have released a music video for “I Bleed Rock+Roll”, the first taste from the UK rocker’s upcoming follow-up to 2011’s ‘This Might Hurt’.
Produced by former Airrace guitarist Laurie Mansworth at Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris’ studio, The Treatment’s debut album ‘This Might Hurt’ was supported by the singles “Drink, F**k, Fight” and “The Doctor”. The album was named one of the best of 2011 by Sleaze Roxx who proclaimed, “Some of their older influences should give their left nut to have written some of these tunes and played them so well. If you want to sink your teeth into some full blooded rock, give The Treatment a spin.”
Combining classic influences (early Def Leppard, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, etc.) with a raw and youthful energy, plus a deep regard for the more rockin’ moments of ’70s punk, The Treatment are embarking on a short tour with Airbourne. For a list of dates visit www.facebook.com/TheTreatmentOfficial.
Earlier this month guitarist Ben Brookland announced he was leaving the band. “As some of you may be aware my Dad has become increasingly ill over the last few months,” stated Brookland. “As a result of this, certain circumstances and priorities in my life have changed and I feel I can no longer continue as a part of The Treatment with the passion and commitment I once had, and also that the band needs and deserves. This may be the end of the journey for me but I would like to wish the band and Laurie Mansworth all the best for the future and with the forthcoming release of the second album, which by the way sounds amazing!”
Filling Brookland’s shoes on the current tour is Jake Pattinson
