Thunder Supporting Their Favorite Charities

THUNDER SUPPORTING THEIR FAVORITE CHARITIES:

March 6, 2008

Thunder are both pleased and happy to support a series of nights promoted by Cliveaid, who raise money for all kinds of good causes, through the promotion of rock music events. See the flyer for details of the next one on April 3rd. Thunder have done their bit for the cause by supplying some goodies for auction on the night. Let’s hope they raise loads of money. Here are some nice words from them…

“In conjunction with High Voltage Live Events (official Clive Aid rock nights) we are now hosting weekly gigs for unsigned bands starting on April 3rd at THE JUNCTION,HIGH STREET, REDHILL,SURREY RH1 1RD. This gives us the chance to let people listen to free live music and help raise money for CLIVE AID through auctions, raffles and donations on the night. We wish to express our thanks and gratitude to all the boys in Thunder and their hardworking team for their support and commitment to our cause and wish them well in all they do.”

Feel free to attend if you’re able, you’ll be doing something positive to help people who need it. They also run the following websites, which you may wish to check out.

Thunder

As you may already know Thunder will be appearing alongside a host of acts and rock stars at the Childline Rocks charity show at Indig02 in London on March 13th 2008.

Just by way of a reminder..

Hosted by radio legend Bob Harris, the bill also includes Roger Daltrey, Lulu, Ian Paice, Glenn Hughes, The Zombies, Fish, Marillion, Russ Ballard, Brian Bennett etc etc.

Thunder will perform a short set of their own music, and will form the backbone of the all star band in the second half of the show.

This will be a very special event, and the band don’t want the ticket price to stop you being there, so a word has been had, and we’ve been given 100 (only 100) downstairs tickets to sell.

This is a unique occasion, so a similarly unique ticketing situation has been decided upon…

You decide how much you pay for your ticket (subject to minimum pricing, this is a charity event after all). Yes, you read it right. You decide.

No booking fee, no postage, you just choose the price you want to pay (25, 30 or 35 pounds), then whip out your plastic.

Click on the link below for ticket info and options, but remember all the tickets are in the same place in the venue (downstairs – standing), you’re just deciding how much you want to donate to ChildLine in order to attend.

It’s going to be a great night, but if you want to go, please don’t hang about, our tickets are on sale now, but this offer ends when the 100 tickets are gone, or at 9pm on the 12th of March, whichever is the sooner.

Conditions:
Ticket pick up will be from the box office on the night. Email confirmation will be required as evidence of purchase.
