Tigertailz Getting Ready To Release ‘Live – Burning Fuel’

October 28, 2010

Tigertailz are on the verge of releasing a new live CD, ‘Live – Burning Fuel’, and will celebrate with a special Christmas show in London on December 16.

Following their sold out show at The Borderline in 2009, Tigertailz are returning to London with a rejuvenated line-up, a new live album, and no shortage of seasonal spirit. Fresh from headlining at the annual Hard Rock Hell festival (which sold out months in advance), Tigertailz bowed to fan demand and will round off 2010 with a festive flourish at The Scala.

Tigertailz shot to fame in 1990 with hit album ‘Bezerk’. It went on to sell over 250,000 copies and spawned several hit singles. Tragedy hit the band in September 2007 when original bassist Pepsi Tate died of pancreatic cancer. A charity, Amser Justin Time, was set up in his memory.

After some soul-searching, the band returned – stronger than ever – in 2010, with a fresh line-up and an injection of energy. “Things have been tough over the last few years but the response to our comeback has been a revelation,” reports frontman Kim Hooker. “We’re all having such an amazing time and it feels great to be in this band again. The Scala will be a special Christmas show, and we’ll be playing tracks from all our main albums. The band has never sounded this good.”

Tickets for Tigertailz at The Scala, London on Thursday, December 16, can be purchased from TicketWeb and the venue: https://scala-london.ticketabc.com/events/tigertailz/
