Tom Keifer unable to perform at two ‘Live Loud 2023’ tour stops due to severe laryngitis
Cinderella frontman Tom Keifer is no stranger to voice problems given that the singer lost his voice and was diagnosed with paralysis of the left vocal cord after the tour supporting the album Heartbreak Station (1991). Keifer had to undergo surgeries to his vocal cords and eventually had to relearn how to sing because of the paralysis to his left vocal cord.
The Tom Keifer Band along with Winger and John Corabi are currently in the midst of their Live Loud 2023 Tour across the United States of America. Unfortunately, Keifer had to pull out of yesterday’s show (on August 4, 2023) at the Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois, USA due to having contracted severe laryngitis. Keifer also did not performing at tonight’s show (on August 5, 2023) at the Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Lampe, Missouri, USA.
The following message was posted on Keifer‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“Our sincere apologies for tonight’s cancellation in Peoria, IL at the Civic Center. Due to illness, Tom Keifer is suffering severe laryngitis/loss of voice and is unable to perform tonight in Peoria and tomorrow night in Lampe MO.
To all our fans and everyone who bought tickets for tonight and tomorrow night’s shows, Tom and #keiferband can’t apologize enough, and hope to have the opportunity in the near future to return to Peoria and Lampe to perform for you.”
