TOMMY LEE AND DAVE NAVARRO SIGN ON FOR SUPER BOWL:

January 5, 2008

Add Tommy Lee and Dave Navarro to the growing lineup of big-name performers who will be rocking downtown Scottsdale during Super Bowl week.

Both Lee and Navarro will join DJs Skribble and Aero on stage Feb. 2 at a block party outside e4 nightclub in the city’s entertainment district, general manager Ryan Hibbert said Saturday.

Ticket prices were unavailable.

The e4 bash won’t be the only action in the neighborhood.

Just down the street, P. Diddy, will host a block party outside the mega club Axis/Radius on Jan. 31.

Rapper Snoop Dogg and rocker/rapper Kid Rock will put on back-to-back shows Feb. 1 and 2 at the Anheuser-Busch Bud Bowl at Axis/Radius.

They’ll face competition from Wyclef Jean and Velvet Revolver who will host concerts the same nights at 944 Super Village at the Scottsdale Waterfront.

Navarro and Lee’s appearance in the Valley could make for an interesting week. Their celebrity ex-wives are expected to be in town for parties as well.

Carmen Electra, Navarro’s ex, is co-hosting the Leather & Laces party Feb. 1 at the Galleria Corporate Center in Scottsdale, with a performance by the band Sugar Ray.

Meanwhile, former Baywatch beauty Pamela Anderson, Lee’s former wife, is expected to swing by the Best Damn Sports Show Period, which will be broadcasting all week from the FBR Open in Scottsdale.

A frequent guest of the sports program, Lee also may make an appearance at Best Damn’s Super Bowl party Jan. 30 at Rockridge Estate. Rapper Ludacris will rock the mic at the exclusive 11-acre compound, which will be converted into Prive Ultra Lounge.

Most know Tommy Lee as the former drummer for heavy metal band Motley Crue.

Guitarist Navarro played in rock bands Jane’s Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He and Electra starred in two MTV reality shows, including ‘Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave which documented the days leading up to the couple’s 2003 wedding.
