Torpedohead Debut “Rotten Radio” Music Video
April 12, 2012
Torpedohead have released their brand new video “Rotten Radio”, and the accompanying single will be available as a “free download” from the band’s Facebook site — www.facebook.com/torpedohead — next week.
“Rotten Radio” is the first preview from Torpedohead’s upcoming second album ‘Greetings From Heartbreak Key’, packed with driving rock n’ roll anthems and set to be released later this year.
Torpedohead stepped into the rock n’ roll circus in 2008 and the German trio lives the imagination of the New York Dolls jamming on Cheap Trick tunes, while transforming this into their own modern rock sound.
The band has been giging relentlessly in Germany and other European countries, supporting international rock acts such as the legendary New York Dolls, Peter Pan Speedrock, Dan Baird, and Prima Donna among others.
After hitting the streets with their debut album ‘Lovesick Avenue’ in 2010, Torpedohead set up their home at the famous Woodhouse Studios in Germany to record the five track EP ‘Let’s Go For A Ride’ with producer Siggi Bemm (Kreator, Lacuna Coil). The release kickstarted an avalanche of great reviews in the press and left fans screaming for more.
Wasting no time, the trio returned to Woodhouse Studios shortly afterwards to record their new album ‘Greetings From Heartbreak Key’, set for release in 2012.
