Twisted Sister release video for “The Price” from ‘Metal Meltdown’ live album

Twisted Sister photoThe legendary heavy metal rockers Twisted Sister have released a live video for their single (and video) “The Price” from their CD/DVD Metal Meltdown, which was released on July 22, 2016 via Loud And Proud Records.

During the intro to the song in the video, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider announces to the audience that the song is dedicated to the memory of deceased bandmate A.J. Pero when he states, “You know, tonight is a tribute to A.J. Pero and I’d be remiss — we’d be remiss — if we didn’t dedicate this song to his memory. Because the rock n’ roll business, as wonderful and glorious as it is, has got a lot of surprises — like grunge. What the fuck happened? What the fuck happened? But we continue on so this one is for you A.J.! I know you are listening.”

Wikipedia states the following in part (with slight edit) about “The Price” video: “The video was filmed in 1985 in Binghamton NY. at the Veterans Memorial Arena which has been host to many #1 acts such as Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Metallica, Motley Crue, Poison, and many others.”
