Twisted Sister to release live CD/DVD ‘Metal Meltdown’ on July 22, 2016
The legendary Twisted Sister will be releasing another live CD/DVD entitled Metal Meltdown, which will be released on July 22, 2016.
Loud And Proud Records’ YouTube page describes the new Twisted Sister live CD/DVD as follows: “On May 30th 2015, the legendary, multi-platinum selling hard rock band Twisted Sister performed an explosive 90 minute set of their biggest hits spanning their 40 year career. The concert was dedicated to the honor of Twisted Sister‘s iconic drummer, AJ Pero, whose tragic, sudden death shocked the music world only days after Twisted Sister announced that this would become the band’s final tour ever. Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, The Winery Dogs, Adrenaline Mob) stepped in to take the reins and his very first Twisted Sister appearance was captured by the Metal Meltdown camera crew.”

Of note, the track listing for Metal Meltdown is very similar to Twisted Sister‘s 2008 live album Live At The Astoria which contains practically all of the same songs except that Live At The Astoria contains “Destroyer”, “Like A Knife In The Back” and “Ride To Live” while Metal Meltdown includes “Stay Hungry”, “The Beast” and “I Believe In Rock ‘N’ Roll.”
