Tyketto Sign With Frontiers Records For 2012 Release
Tyketto Sign With Frontiers Records For 2012 Release
June 13, 2011
Tyketto has signed with Frontiers Records to release a brand new studio album in 2012. Tyketto happily joins the Frontiers family, which houses such heavyweights as Def leppard, Whitesnake and Journey.
Says the band, “We have been busy finalizing the deal, and working on material for our fourth studio release. This will be our first new album since 1995’s ‘Shine’. These are some of the best ideas we have worked on in years. There’s plenty of the classic ‘Don’t Come Easy’ sound, mixed in with some new ideas and some great surprises! Look out for a spring 2012 release… everywhere!”
All four original Tyketto members — Danny Vaughn (vocals), Brooke St.James (guitar), Jimi Kennedy (bass) and Michael Clayton (drums) — will be part of this special event.
And what’s an album release without tour dates? Tyketto will hit the road with some very special shows, where they will debut songs from the new album. On November 23rd Tyketto will host a ‘Home For The Holidays Party’ with Black Water Rising at Sullivan Hall in New York City. The band will follow that gig with a show at London’ Camden Underworld on November 30th and an appearance at Hard Rock Hell in Prestatyn, North Wales on December 3rd. Look out for a full scale multi-nation tour in the spring of 2012.
Also, on Saturday, November 26th, Tyketto will perform a live webcast from the New York area. The band will be sending out detailed information soon on how to view the show and how to be an active part of the event, emailing in questions and requesting your favorite songs. It’s going to be amazing!
