The show must go on! That is obviously what FireHouse and their long-time lead vocalist CJ Snare thought yesterday as the singer announced on Facebook that he was sick and unable to attend the band’s two upcoming gigs in Moline, Illinois, USA and Ashland, Virginia, USA this weekend. Taking Snare‘s place would be current Last In Line frontman Andrew Freeman. The latter plays in Last In Line with ’80s era rockers Vivian Campbell (guitar), Vinny Appice (drums) and Phil Soussan (bass). In addition, Freeman had a stint in recent years playing with some other ’80s era rockers in the group Lies, Deceit & Treachery which featured three of BulletBoys‘ original members (guitarist Mick Sweda, bassist Lonnie Vencent and drummer Jimmy D’Anda).
The following message was posted on Snare‘s Facebook page yesterday:
“So, I woke up this morning and was sick in my stomach. Headed to the doctor. Don’t need prayers, thoughts, or hugs. I just need people to understand that I won’t be in Moline or Ashland to do the FireHouse shows. My apologies to everyone involved. Our good friend, Andrew Freeman will be singing in my place for the weekend and I hope that you all welcome him at these shows. Please, have fun. I’ll be back next week singing in Ohio.
Big love to my band and all of our listeners. RAWK ON !!!
See ya next week.
CJ.”
